PROJECT LOCATION Hurricane, UT

Weitz Golf began Construction on this Nicklaus Design project in the summer of 2007. Weitz Golf has completed rough shaping of nine golf holes, and will be re-mobilizing in the spring of 2008 after the winter months. The current schedules anticipates completion of the 18 hole course in the summer of 2008.

PROJECT LOCATION Tucson, AZ

On Monday October 22, 2007 Weitz Golf International broke ground on their newly awarded project Dove Mountain near Tucson Arizona. The new contract includes the first 9 holes of the newest 18 hole facility planned for the Dove Mountain Resort located about 20 miles north of Tucson in Marana Arizona.

This Jack Nicklaus Designed course wanders in, out and around many desert arroyo areas filled with various types of native catus and other desert plants. Construction progress has been good with the 9 golf holes now rough shaped, most golf drainage installed, greens construction mostly complete and the site's irrigation lake installed and ready to fill. Upon completion and much preparation this new 9 holes at Dove Mountain Resort will become the 2009 site for the WGC Accenture World Match Play Championship.

PROJECT LOCATION Dulles, VA

Construction at The Presidential Club began in 2007, with a scheduled completion of summer 2008. The course is designed by David Heatwole.


PAPAGO PARK

PROJECT LOCATION Phoenix, AZ

The renovation of Papago Park Golf Course in Phoenix, AZ includes new greens, tees, bunkers, fairway renovation, new irrigation system and minor shaping changes.

WGI will be working in partnership with the Arizona Golf Association, The City of Phoenix and Billy Fuller Golf Design. This fast paced project will also include minor clubhouse renovation in Phase 1 and planned construction of a new facility within 3 years. Weitz Golf will be the General Contractor for all Phases of the construction process.

PROJECT LOCATION Heber City, UT

Weitz Golf broke ground in June, 2007 on Red Ledges in Heber City, UT.

This Jack Nicklaus Signature Course will be set against dramatic red rock cliffs and cedar trees and will guide you into canyons and then onto plateaus featuring spectacular views of Mount Timpanogos. Weitz Golf will also be building a 9 hole short course on the property.

Weitz Golf also provided Pre Construction services on the project.

ROCO KI GOLF & BEACH RESORT

PROJECT LOCATION Macao Beach, Dominican Republic

Working from our office in Bavaro, Higuey, Dominican Republic, Weitz Golf is building the new championship golf course at the new Roco Ki Golf and Beach Resort. Designed by Nick Faldo, the course is routed along a coconut palm lined beach, mangroves and a prominent rocky headland. Several holes will play along the headland and bluffs along the Atlantic Ocean.

Weitz Golf provided comprehensive pre-construction services in the months leading up to the start of construction including, budgeting, value analysis, scheduling and supervision of clearing and mass excavation operations.

ROPE RIDER GOLF COURSE

PROJECT LOCATION Roslyn, WA

Rope Rider is the third course being built for the Suncadia Resort. Weitz Golf also completed the Palmer designed Prospector course and Tom Doak designed Tumble Creek course within the burgeoning development.

Built around an abandoned coal mine, the course is named after the miners who rode ropes down into the mine shafts. An existing coal stockpile will come into play on several holes on the back nine. The Jacobsen-Hardy designed course measures 7,203 yards from the back tees and features a bluegrass blend on the fairways and bentgrass greens.

The project is scheduled to be completed in Summer of 2008.
