PROJECT LOCATION Bryan, TX

This project included Three 4-unit Golf Cottages, a 5,900 SF two-story Golf Learning Center, 5,500 SF golf course Maintenance Building, irrigation Pump House and two golf course Restroom/Shelters. The Golf Learning Center, designed by Downing, Thorpe and James, will be utilized by the Texas A&M University golf teams and is part of a state of the art teaching and practice facility. The exterior of the buildings feature native Texas limestone veneer, rough sawn siding and heavy timber framing and accents. The Learning Center contains indoor hitting bays and outdoor, covered hitting bays, classrooms, coaches offices, a library, lounge, locker rooms and bathroom/shower facilities.

PROJECT LOCATION Scottsdale, AZ

This project includes a 7,000 square foot renovation to the clubhouse at Troon Golf & Country Club and a 2,300 square foot addition to the club’s fitness center. The remodel features upgrades and changes to the Men’s Grill, golf shop, Quails nest, private dining room and a portion of the main dining room. Changes in the Men’s grill include relocation of the bar, removing the fireplace, window and floor covering replacement and new lighting. The addition of the fitness center features two-story masonry and steel construction with a radius window wall.

PROJECT LOCATION Tequesta, FL

Completed in the fall of 2006, this project involved a 5,000 SF grille room and lounge addition as well as a complete renovation of the main dining room and others areas of the club, totaling 10,000 SF. The new grill room features built-in banquettes and table seating for 120. A new bar serves both the grille room and main dining room. The dining room renovation features a new drywall and acoustical panel coffered ceiling, new interior finishes, millwork and acoustical upgrades. An elegant gallery and lobby space was created to provide more privacy for diners and improve acoustics in the space. Weitz Golf provided preconstruction services through the design process and completed the project on time and on budget. Peacock and Lewis provided architectural and interior design for the project.

PROJECT LOCATION Boca Raton, FL

Weitz Golf provided both preconstruction and construction services on this project which encompassed the complete demolition of existing facilities and construction of the new 84,000 SF clubhouse and related recreational facilities. The first floor of the clubhouse features spacious men's and women's locker rooms with adjacent card rooms in addition to the golf pro shop and administration offices. Upon entering the main lobby the grand entry stair case leads to the entertainment area which includes a 6,400 SF ballroom, spacious casual and fine dining facilities and the octagonal "O Bar" all of which provide dramatic views of the golf course. Using a guaranteed maximum price agreement and a "team approach", this project was completed on time and within budget.
