Current News

Weitz Golf is pleased to announce the completion Bella Collina clubhouse located in Montverde, FL. Built for Ginn Development International, this project includes a 63,000 square foot Clubhouse and a 1,800 square foot Gatehouse. All of the buildings in the project reflect a Tuscan theme with exterior materials including natural stone veneer, heavy timber, aged stucco and barrel tile roofing. Interior finishes make extensive use of wood flooring and ceilings, heavy timber, plaster and stone.


Weitz Golf is pleased to announce the completion of Lost Tree Beach club in North Palm Beach, FL. The project included demolition of the original Beach Club and Pool and construction of a new 11,000 SF two level Beach Club, Pool/Pool deck and related sitework and landscaping.


Weitz Golf has been selected to build the new sports complex at BallenIsles Country club in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Designed by Peacock and Lewis Architects & Planners, this 35,000 sf facility is scheduled to break ground in August, 2008.


Weitz Golf International has been selected to perform the Golf Course Renovations at Kauai Lagoons, in Kauai, Hawaii. Work will include the renovation of 16 existing golf holes, the construction of 11 new golf holes, new practice facilities, new practice green and new nursery green. Marriott Vacation Club is the owner of the facility, and Nicklaus Design is the architect for the course renovation.


Weitz Golf will begin construction renovation for Papago Golf Course in Phoenix, AZ on April 1, 2008. This project includes new greens, new tees, new bunkers, fairway renovation, new irrigation system and minor shaping changes. Wetiz Golf will be working in partnership with the Arizona Golf Association and City of Phoenix. This will be a very fast paced project and will get much attention from local media and residents. This project will also include minor clubhouse work in Phase 1 and planned construction of a new facility within 3 years. Weitz Golf will be the General Contractor for all Phases of the construction process.


On May 13, 2008 Wetiz Golf will return to The Badlands in Las Vegas, Nevada to finish the greens renovation project. Due to the success of our work there last summer the Owner decided to move forward and complete the remaining 18 holes as opposed to stretching the project out another year.
