Information pertaining to golf courses and clubhouses in development, general Weitz Golf International news, as well as the unveiling of our latest projects is contained in the following articles. 2007Current NewsWeitz Golf International has been selected for the Lost Tree Beach Club located in North Palm Beach, Florida. The project includes demolition of the original Beach Club and Pool and construction of a new 11,000 SF two level Beach Club, Pool/Pool deck and related sitework and landscaping. The new Beach Club features a wrap–around dining porch with heavy timber framing and T&G decking. The Dining Room, porch and outside bar all will have broad views of the Atlantic Ocean. The Dining Room features a display kitchen, built–in buffets and booth and table seating options. A large kitchen will service the Dining Room, pool deck and beach. The club will also contain a Tennis Pro Shop and offices to support the adjacent tennis courts. The project is scheduled to be complete in Winter 2008. Weitz Golf International has been selected for John's Island Beach Club on the Atlantic Ocean in Vero Beach, Florida. Construction is underway on this breath–taking new project located directly The scope of work includes demolition of the original Beach Club, pool and parking garage. The floor elevation of the 42,000 SF new building has been raised substantially to provide panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean from nearly every seat in the house. Folding window walls along the east side of the club will open up the dining rooms and bar to the pool deck and ocean and take advantage of the usually temperate sea breeze. All areas of the club will be connected by covered loggias with heavy timber framing. From two independent kitchens, the club will provide a variety of dining venues and environments all under one roof. The project also includes a two level parking garage and related sitework. Work is scheduled to be complete in the Summer of 2008. Weitz Golf International has been chosen as the Construction Manager for the Hamlet Country Club 35,000 s.f. clubhouse renovation in Delray Beach, FL. WGI is currently working in the pre construction phase of the project. Weitz Golf has been selected for construction of the Red Ledges Golf Course in Heber City, UT.
