The Breakers Rees Jones Course
West Palm Beach, Florida

West Palm Beach, Florida – The recently completed Breakers Rees Jones Course, constructed by Weitz Golf International, won top honors in the 2005 Renovation of the Year competition. The project, designed by Rees Jones, II continues Weitz's long standing relationship with The Breaker's Resort.

The total renovation involved over 125,000 Cy of earthmoving, lake expansions, complete re-shaping, all new greens, tees and bunkers, irrigation system, exposed aggregate cart paths, grassing with TifEagle greens, Paspalum tees and 419 fairways & roughs and extensive landscaping. The project was completed on time despite weathering two hurricanes during the final stages of construction.

Weitz Golf International won runner–up honors in the 2004 competition for the Steve Smyers designed renovation of the Grande Pines course in Orlando, Florida.
