Weitz Golf International Opens New Office in the Caribbean

Bavaro, Higuey, Dominican Republic, February 1, 2005 – Weitz Golf International formed Weitz Golf del Caribe to better serve its clients in the Dominican Republic and throughout the Caribbean. New office is located in Bavaro, Dominican Republic 30 minutes from the Punta Cana airport. Building upon our stability and financial strength, Weitz Golf del Caribe brings a cooperative, team approach, comprehensive pre-construction services and reputation for quality golf course construction to the region.

Weitz Golf del Caribe is currently under contract to construct the Nicklaus Signature Punta Espada Golf Course at Cap Cana, D.R. and is providing Preconstruction Services for Nick Faldo’s Design Roco Ki Golf & Beach Resort Golf Course at Macao Beach, Dominican Republic.

Weitz Golf International specializes in golf course and club house construction with USA offices located in West Palm Beach, Florida; Denver, Colorado; and Temecula, California. Weitz Golf International is a divison of The Weitz Company, LLC, established in 1855 and currently celebrating its 150th anniversary.
