TRADITIONS CLUB AT TEXAS A&M

NORTH PALM BEACH, FL (May 2003) — Weitz Golf International has commenced construction of the Golf Learning Center, Golf Cottages, and Maintenance building for the Traditions Club at Texas A&M, located in Bryan, Texas. Affiliated with Texas A&M University, the development also features an 18-hole, championship golf course co-designed by Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II and includes a state of the art teaching / practice facility. The 5,900 square foot Golf Learning Center will be utilized by the University’s Men’s and Women’s golf teams and features indoor and covered outdoor hitting bays, classrooms, coaches offices, library, lounge, locker, and bathroom facilities.

The project, which is also slated to include a clubhouse, is being developed by The Melrose Company of Hilton Head, South Carolina.
