BEAR'S BEST ATLANTA

SUWANNEE, GA (May 2002) — Weitz Golf International has just completed the second Bears Best Course for ClubCorp U.S.A. The Nicklaus Design Team picked 18 holes from Jack’s favorite courses throughout the world to devise the layout. This outing golf course is located on the north side of Atlanta and features replicated holes from such great golf courses as PGA National, Shoal Creek, Spring Creek Ranch and Muirfield Village.

Working closely with the Georgia environmental organizations such as The RiverKeepers, Nicklaus Design created a routing that coexists with the natural Georgia terrain. This heavily treed golf course, is surrounded by a Pulte Homes development which features 466 home sites in three neighborhoods.

The golf course is scheduled to open for play in July, while the clubhouse will follow later in the fall. Bears Best Atlanta joins Bears Best Las Vegas as the only two Bears Best courses in the market place today.
