INAUGURAL BEAR'S BEST COMPLETED IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

On Time and On Budget

LAS VEGAS, NV (March 2002) — Weitz Golf International, LLC successfully completed, on time and on budget, the construction of the inaugural Bear’s Best golf course and related facilities in Las Vegas, Nevada. The project includes an 18-hole championship golf course with a Driving Range, complete teaching facility as well as a club house with golf shop and group entertaining facilities, ladies and men's locker rooms, cart storage and maintenance building.

The concept is a unique golf course showcasing great holes from Jack Nicklaus' designs including PGA West, Muirfield Village, Castle Pines, and Cabo San Lucas. Built to focus on the "corporate entertainment" needs associated with most conventions, corporate meetings and incentive programs, Bear's Best is the ultimate venue for golf events of any size. Of particular interest for a Bear's Best course are those major American cities that serve as hosts for large conferences and conventions. The Atlanta Bear’s Best is in the final stages of completion by the Weitz Company and will open in the summer of 2002.

The golf course is owned and operated out of a joint venture formed between two of the golf industry's leading family-operated companies, the Nicklaus companies of Florida and ClubCorp of Dallas. The coursed opened for play on November 1, 2001 and will have its official opening on January 15, 2002. Located in the new Ridges Community of Summerlin in west Las Vegas, the residences are being developed by The Howard Hughes Corporation, Inc.
