WEITZ GOLF INTERNATIONAL AWARDED NEW CENTENNIAL GOLF CLUB

Greenfield Site to House First Public Nicklaus Design Course in Minnesota

NORTH PALM BEACH, FL (January 2001) — Weitz Golf International is mobilizing to commence construction of the Centennial Golf Club project located in Greenfield, Minnesota. This 18-hole Nicklaus Design course will be built into the beautiful, rolling topography of this pristine area, and features dramatic clubhouse views from an elevated bluff. A natural lake and creek run throughout the course layout, which also includes numerous areas of mature forestation.

Brian Gensmer, of the Gensmer Golf Marketing Group, Inc. who also has developed the Bearpath Golf and Country Club in nearby Eden Prairie, is creating this upscale semi-private course. James Bean Architects is furnishing the exciting clubhouse design.
