WEITZ GOLF INTERNATIONAL BEGINS CONSTRUCTION OF INDIAN WELLS GOLF COURSE EXPANSION

TEMECULA, CA (November 2000) — Weitz Golf International has begun construction of the 9-hole addition at Indian Wells. This expansion to the existing 18-hole facility features three (3) lakes and a waterfall, furnishing an exciting layout built into the pristine location of Indian Wells, California. Construction is underway and scheduled to be complete in March of 2001.

The Ted Robinson, Sr. design adds additional playabilty to the existing facilities, and utilizes the natural topography to create a dramatic design. Other projects created by Ted Robinson and constructed by the Weitz Golf team include the Brentwood Golf Club in Danville, California, Sierra Lakes, in Fontana, California, and Robinson Ranch, located in Santa Clarita, California.

Weitz Golf International is a wholly owned division of The Weitz Company, Inc, a respected construction company established in 1855. During their 145-year history, they have become well known for quality, cost, and schedule control.
