WEITZ GOLF INTERNATIONAL EXPANDS BUSINESS ACQUISITION GROUP

NORTH PALM BEACH, FL (November 1999) — Weitz Golf International, L.L.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Warren T. "Tommy" Sasser to their staff as VP Marketing. Mr. Sasser's primary responsibility will be to direct the company's golf course construction marketing efforts.

Prior to joining Weitz Golf, Tommy was President of Golf Development Consultants. He brings to his new role over 25 years of experience in the golf construction industry, having completed a wide range of golf course projects both domestically and abroad. Mr. Sasser is on the Board of Directors of the Golf Course Builders of America, and is a member of the National Golf Foundation, the Golf Course Superintendents of America, the Urban Land Institute and the Society of American Foresters.
