WEITZ GOLF TO BUILD CLUBCORP GOLF COURSE & CLUBHOUSE

NORTH PALM BEACH, FL (July 1999) — Weitz Golf International has begun construction on The Nicklaus Golf Club at BirchRiver, the first golf course developed under the relationship formed between Weitz Golf and ClubCorp of America.

The 18-hole championship course is located in Dahlonega, Ga., approximately one hour from Atlanta, and includes a clubhouse and related facilities. Late summer of 2000 is the expected time of completion.
